I would like to write about " When does freedom of speech become a hate crime?"  people say no it's freedom of speech, but i disagree because when you talk about someone's sex,religion,ethnicity,etc, it hurts them and it is HATEFUL!

                                           IS GAY A SIN?

Many people in the world think the life of a homosexual is a sin due to religious thoughts and personal issues with the situation.  Many "gay "or"lesbian" individuals have to seek expectance from anyone they know in some way.  For example parents from the generation before ours definitely were taught that homosexuality was a sin because it was not in the bible. European administrators in the 1870's began to notice that people, instead of building there life around normal values like careers, money and places to live , they were doing it by sexual preference.  People like this became known as "sexual deviants"   Nazi's destroyed archieves about homosexuality, with that, the archieves had thousands of homosexuals on file.  But they were also sent to be killed during the war. The first group of homosexuals founded  in the United States was in Los Angeles in November of 1950.  Ran by a man named Harry Hay, this political movement was the biggest political movement in the US in this century.  This group was known as the Communist Party, by 1953, per the president , being or the suspectance of homosexuality was a significant reason to be fired from your job and possibly even arrested. By the 1960's they had a thing called " gay bashing", it was especially enforced by public officials( police).  In the 1970's the gays had a major breakthrough when they got American Psychiatrist Association to take homosexuality off of the metal illness list,then the had the outbreak of AIDS.  Gay rights have changed dramatically over the past thirty years but many people still to this day , even though certain states do actually allow gay marriage now, definitely "hate " on the situation.  As you can tell people have definitely put gays through many rough situations and obstacals just to be who they are.("Brief History of Homosexuality in America").
